While optimism is being phrased cautiously, in many ways, print book sales are back, as reported by publishers weekly in a couple of pieces. Here’s one:

The rebounding of print — a number of major publishers have reported that their print sales rose in 2015, while their e-book sales declined–no doubt helped bricks and mortar outlets last year. The rise in print sales comes after a period of marked decline, when e-book sales were surging from 2009-2010.

And then something completely different:

Bottom line: Renewed print numbers are giving the industry another chance at hope.
