Halibut Almond

2 pounds halibut steak
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons minced onion
2/3 cup white wine
Salt, pepper and paprika
1/3 cup toasted slivered almonds
Parsley for garnish

Place halibut in a shallow baking dish; dot with butter. Sprinkle with onions. Pour wine over all. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika. Cover tightly with foil and bake in a 375 degree oven for 20 minutes or until fish flakes at the touch of a fork.

To serve, sprinkle with almonds and garnish with parsley.

Serves 4 to 6.

Serve with Fume Blanc or Chardonnay.
